The Vero Beach office of the American Red Cross is located on 17th Ave. It is one of the offices of the Palm Beach and Treasure Coast Chapter, whose area takes in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties.
The Red Cross help line can be reached day or night, and service members, veterans and their families have their own 24-hour line. Classes available through the chapter include CPR, first aid, lifeguarding, swimming and water safety.
