Story
The Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross is based on Easterwood Drive in Tallahassee. It covers more than 475,000 people living in Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty and Wakulla counties. The office is open on weekdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Anyone hit by a house fire or another disaster can call the Red Cross at any hour. Service members who need help have their own line, also available around the clock.
