Premier Sotheby's International Realty - Tampa

Premier Sotheby's International Realty is a Naples-based luxury brokerage and an affiliate of the global Sotheby's International Realty network. It operates as a division of The Lutgert Companies, a privately held development company run by the Lutgert family in Naples.

The firm entered the Tampa market in March 2013. Its first Tampa location, on South Moody Avenue in South Tampa, became the company's 19th office. Real estate veteran Kurt Gleeson was named the office's managing broker. At that time Premier had about 450 agents covering the Gulf Coast from Tampa to Marco Island. The company had just finished a strong 2012, with $2.3 billion in residential sales on the Gulf Coast. CEO Judy Green explained the move by noting that South Tampa was where the action was. She also observed that Tampa's luxury buyers tend to be business executives, doctors, lawyers and sports professionals.

The Tampa office is now located at 744 South Village Circle. The firm later brought its rental and property management program to the Tampa Bay region, with rentals managed through its Clearwater, St. Petersburg and Tampa offices. Premier has run a rentals division in Naples since the early 1990s and in Sarasota since 2015.
