Story
The Keys Weekly was founded in September 2003. In August 2006 ownership passed to publisher Jason Koler and his wife, Kate. In November 2013 Britt Myers joined as co-owner, and together they opened offices in Key West and Tavernier.
According to the company, Keys Weekly has the largest newspaper circulation in the Florida Keys and is the only locally owned and operated publishing company serving all of Monroe County. It has more than 20 local employees, and many of them serve on civic and nonprofit boards across the Keys.
