The Anna Maria Island Sun (AMI Sun)

The Anna Maria Island Sun has covered Anna Maria Island in print and online for more than two decades. It reports on Anna Maria, Holmes Beach, Bradenton Beach, Cortez and Manatee County, covering local government, development, business and tourism, and the island's outdoor life: fishing, birds, manatees and sea turtles. The paper also publishes features, editorials, guest columns, a hurricane guide and an annual Readers' Choice Awards. Its staff has won numerous Florida Press Association awards, including first place for overall performance among weekly papers in its division in the 2012 contest.
