Our story
WTVJ/NBC6 is Florida's first television station and the 16th TV station in the United States. It first signed on on March 21, 1949. The station was founded on three principles: commitment to the community, excellence in journalism and industry leadership.
NBC6 and its sister station Telemundo 51 broadcast from Peacock Plaza in Miramar.
