Story
Watson Realty Corp. was founded by William A. Watson, Jr. in December 1965. It began as a single-storefront company, first operating as the William A. Watson Corporation. In 1967 it opened its first corporate office on Atlantic Boulevard in Jacksonville.
The company has been family-owned since its founding. It has grown to more than 50 offices and about 1,400 sales associates, with family members taking active roles in the business. Watson's founding principle is that the customer's needs always come first.
