Story
Rollins College sits on the banks of Lake Virginia in Winter Park, just north of Orlando. It was founded in 1885 by New England Congregationalists who wanted to bring their style of liberal arts education to the Florida frontier. Today it is a four-year, coeducational institution and the first recognized college in Florida.
Mission
Rollins educates students for global citizenship and responsible leadership. It aims to prepare graduates for meaningful lives and productive careers. The college's guiding principles are excellence, innovation and community.
