Leader Tech makes shielding against electromagnetic interference (EMI) for circuit boards, enclosures and interconnect cables, along with thermal management products and microwave absorbers. It serves commercial and military customers from its Global EMI Shielding Technology Center in Tampa, Florida.

The company keeps its manufacturing in the United States and continues to grow its experienced team and production technology at its US facility. Customers work with a live applications support team rather than an automated system, and the company aims to have calls answered by a person and to get answers back within 24 to 48 hours. Engineers can request sample kits and design reviews.

Leader Tech is part of HEICO Corporation, an aerospace and electronics company, and was HEICO's first acquisition in its Electronic Technologies Group. Leader Tech provides copies of its ISO 9001 certificate and its RoHS compliance statement.

Its products are used in defense, aerospace, medical devices, telecommunications, data centers, networking equipment, and automotive and industrial electronics. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Friday until 4:30 p.m.
