Ameritech Manufacturing

Ameritech Manufacturing is a family-owned Tampa manufacturer of commercial pressure washing equipment, founded in 1988. Its founder opened the shop on North Nebraska Ave to give commercial operators better equipment than was then available.

In the early 2000s the company moved into its current 10,000 sq. ft. facility, which houses manufacturing, repair service, parts stock and a showroom for customers. The team designs, builds and repairs custom rigs, skid systems and trailer-mounted pressure washers for commercial operators and ships them across the U.S. Each system is assembled in-house and run under load before delivery.

Mobile detailers, food-plant sanitation teams, fleet wash contractors, property maintenance operators and Florida cleaning crews have all come through the shop. Ameritech is an authorized warranty repair center for brands including AR, Cat Pumps, Comet, Graco, General Pump, Giant, Honda, Udor and Titan.

In 2026 it released the Belt Box, its own conversion kit that switches gear- or V-belt-driven plunger pumps to COG belt drive, cutting pump RPM by approximately 50% to extend pump life. The company also publishes a free online knowledge base for operators. Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
