Story
Adventure Outfitters is a veteran-owned, family-run dive center in South Tampa offering scuba instruction, dive charters, and gear sales, rental and servicing. The center describes itself as an SDI 5-Star Dive Center. Classes run from first-time discovery dives and youth programs to open water, nitrox, rescue, advanced, divemaster, technical and cavern training. Freediving, snorkeling, mermaid diving, and CPR, AED and oxygen courses are also offered.
Charters aboard the Zen Dog, a 32-foot WorldCat center console, include two- and three-tank recreational dives, spearfishing trips and Middlegrounds excursions. The boat also runs CCR, technical, wreck and DPV charters.
The shop carries both premium and budget gear brands and also services equipment. The team organizes community dive cleanups in the Tampa Bay area.
