Jay Hospital

Jay Hospital is part of Baptist Health Care, a not-for-profit health system based in Northwest Florida. Its services span inpatient and outpatient care as well as home health and community programs. Services at Jay include emergency care, imaging, general surgery, laboratory testing, heart and vascular care, OB/GYN and rehabilitation.

The Skilled Care program, also known as swing bed, gives short-term rehab to patients who need more recovery time after an acute hospital stay. It places strong emphasis on physical and occupational therapy, with IV therapy and wound care also available. Patients remain in a hospital with full staffing, so inpatient and emergency care are close at hand.
