Story
Ascend via Makers Air is the private charter division of Makers Air, a family-owned airline flying between South Florida and the Bahamas. The company lists its address as Hangar 7 on NW 21st Terrace in Fort Lauderdale.
Travelers can book a charter built around their own schedule, or choose an empty leg, a flight that repositions a plane after another charter and may be sold at a special price. Charters are not limited to the airline's regular routes and can reach places that scheduled flights don't serve.
A single point of contact handles each trip, from planning to landing. Before takeoff, passengers wait in the Ascend Passenger Lounge, with free valet, baggage handling, refreshments and snacks.
