(un)cancer creates products and resources to make life easier for cancer patients and caregivers, both during treatment and through survivorship.

The company was founded by Abida Taher, MD, PhD, a board-certified onco-radiologist, together with co-founder Robyn Lesser, DMD, a board-certified pediatric dentist.

Dr. Taher has been in private practice since 2009. Dr. Lesser is a native of Clearwater, Florida, and has been in private practice in Tampa since 2002.

The Oral Care line includes dry mouth candies, a soothing mouth rinse, a lip balm, a remineralization gel and a dry mouth kit. The Comfort Wear collection offers adaptive crew shirts for women and men, a flex pant, a comfort shield, a baseball cap and a beanie, all meant to make treatment visits less stressful.

The company reports that more than 4,000 patients have experienced significant relief from treatment-related side effects using its products.

The website also offers checklists for every stage of treatment, and the company has a scientific advisory board.
