TGH DeSoto

TGH DeSoto in Arcadia is the former DeSoto Memorial Hospital, which is now part of Tampa General Hospital. Local care stays in DeSoto, now linked to the wider resources of Tampa General.

The emergency department treats adults and children at any hour, every day. ER services include heart attack and stroke evaluation, X-ray and CT imaging, lab and blood testing, and IV therapy.

Beyond emergency care, the hospital offers inpatient care, surgical services, cardiology, gastroenterology, urology, podiatry, behavioral health, home health and a primary stroke program.
